• Poll details, including the creator nickname, selected restaurants, optional location context, timestamps, and poll status.
• Participant details, including nickname, browser-generated client identifier, selected vote, and any restaurant a participant adds to a poll.
• Restaurant search context, such as keywords, filters, and location coordinates when you grant browser location permission.
• Basic analytics events, such as poll creation, search, vote submission, and share actions, with privacy-safe event properties.

How we use information

We use this information to operate the product, show restaurants and directions, prevent duplicate or abusive actions, calculate poll results, remember polls created from the same browser, troubleshoot issues, and understand whether core flows are working.

Location

Location access is optional. If you allow it, your browser sends coordinates so we can search nearby restaurants. If you decline, restaurant search can still work from keywords, but nearby results may be less relevant.

Sharing and visibility

Poll links are shareable by design. Anyone with the link may be able to view the poll, vote, and see results after voting. Avoid using sensitive or private nicknames in poll content.

Restaurant information, maps, ratings, pricing, and directions may be provided by third-party services such as Google Maps or Google Places. Those services may process your request according to their own terms and privacy practices.

Retention

Polls are designed for short-term group decisions. Voting closes after roughly seven days. Operational records, analytics, and backups may be retained for reliability, abuse prevention, debugging, and service maintenance.

Your choices

• You can decline browser location permission and use keyword search instead.
• You can use a nickname rather than your legal name.
• You can avoid sharing a poll link beyond the people who should participate.
• You can clear this site's local browser storage to remove the local identifier used for device-level poll history.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate for a lightweight decision tool. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so please do not submit sensitive personal, financial, medical, or confidential information in poll names, nicknames, or restaurant suggestions.
